Automobile accidents are a subset of a class of cases we handle, which in law school are called negligence cases. However, in everyday speak we call these accident cases. They involve a person being injured and someone else having negligently caused those injuries. Money is collected on these cases based upon the degree of physical injuries caused initially and residually (long term), the pain and suffering, and economic losses like the inability to be able to go to work or the need to hire others to do things for you as directly related to the accident.
